What is Vilification Tennis?
Vilification Tennis is a Minnesota comedy show that has been performing at the MN Renaissance Festival for over 20 years. Now, we are also a Minneapolis comedy show because we play venues such as the Bryant-Lake Bowl Cabaret Theater very regularly throughout the year. Simply put, Vilification Tennis is a structured improvisational comedy show where competitors engage in a battle of insults. We often touch on subjects that other Minneapolis comedy shows wouldn’t dare to, and that allows us to be quite possibly the edgiest comedy show in Minneapolis. Those who are easily offended will be. Those who aren't easily offended will be. For more info about Vilification Tennis, please visit our About Us page
We have an ever-changing cast of performers and comedians that literally hurl insults back and forth at each other. Doing a comedy show in Minneapolis allows us to recruit a diverse cast of “opponents” who are always rotating and bringing fresh material to each show. Each show will often have a unique theme; so you’ll never see two Vilification Tennis shows that are the same. Please visit our performers section for more info about our cast of performers.
Vilification Tennis is NOT a 501c3 organization, but that doesn’t mean you can’t contribute to our overhead expenses. We do sell tickets to shows and we make a little (very little) money off of that. So, since we don’t do this for exposure, but for that sweet sweet cash, feel free to click the link below to throw a tip in our virtual tip jar. Virtual Tip Jar
